I've never seen a dryer like this before, but I think it's safe to day that the next step in the generation of blow dyers is touch screen technology. This dryer will be on the market in May 2012!

Farouk Systems, makers of CHI and BioSilk, have harnessed their own touch screen technology putting beauty at your fingertips, literally. Slated for a launch in early May 2012, the CHI Touch Dryer is being hailed as a “game-changing” tool.

The patent-pending dryer is equipped with a 3-inch full color LCD touch screen display for easy navigation. It has 1800 watts of power, dries hair in half the time and it includes an advanced ceramic heater utilizing infrared technology that reduces static and rehydrates dry, damaged hair.

Its ionizing feature has hair type selections (fine, medium and coarse) that helps you take the guess work out of eliminating frizz. The three power and temperature settings are controlled by a simple slide of the finger.

CHI Touch also has a built in memory function that automatically recalls its most recent settings. The lightweight ergonomic design and soft touch finish make for the ultimate in styling comfort and control.
