The Daily Duty

Sometimes you just gotta do what you just gotta do. This wonderful press release came in about "The Daily Duty" and I just had to share.

Apparently there are ways salons can make a difference...in ALL rooms. The release beautifully states: "When nature calls, it’s now a chance to make the world a better place."

THE DAILY DUTY is a new toilet paper...and paper with a conscience. A portion of the proceeds are donated to a variety of charitable causes. Again, from the release: "By joining the movement with THE DAILY DUTY, salons can help wipe out hunger, take a stand (or sit) against poverty, and bring relief to those who need it."

THE DAILY DUTY founder Alex Goodman, believes this product really can make a difference.
"Subscribers can support the charity of their choice with just a click during the purchase process. Charitable partners span a wide variety of national and local causes, including Lady Gaga’s Born This Way for youth empowerment, Fran Dresher’s Cancer Schmancer, and the Morris Animal Foundation for animal welfare." According to Alex, there is also the option to nominate an organization to be a recipient of the purchase donation.

“We must make giving back effortless,” says Alex. “When the economy was hit,
charitable donations suffered. I thought there must be a way for people to help others without causing financial stress. I looked for a product that people were already buying that could provide relief, and what’s more necessary than TP!”

Here's the scoop: a subscriber receives a regular delivery to his or her salon, office or home of 48 individually wrapped rolls of soft, virgin 2-ply paper sourced from renewable forests.

The salon industry is already on board, helping this TP get on a roll. JPMS CEO/Co-owner John Paul DeJoria’s “success unshared is failure” motto inspired The Daily Duty’s mission to make a difference and JP’s Peace Love & Happiness foundation is among the rapidly expanding list of charitable recipients.

Orders start at $34.99 plus shipping per box of 48 life-changing rolls.

Adds the release: "Relief has never felt so good."
