I'm here at the International Salon and Spa Expo in Long Beach, California, and man oh man, I am meeting all of the industry rockstars!
Seriously, I am having such a wonderful time and it is so nice to make connections and learn from some of the greats. If you haven't been to a beauty show, you've got to make it out here! It's hair heaven!!!
Not only are there fabulous new products launching at the show, but there's fabulous educators and well-known industry personalities anxious and excited to talk to you! It's a beauty school student's dream!!

Last night, I had the amazing opportunity to attend Legends and Icons. The 2010 Gala marks NCA's fourth tribute to iconic individuals who have made an indelible mark on the direction of the beauty industry and the lives of literally countless salon professionals. And, I got to meet them almost all of them!!
Here's Robert Cromeans. OMG!!! He is so cool!! He came up to MODERN SALON with a big entourage of peeps following him. Robert knows I'm in beauty school, and he made it a point to tell me how much he loves working with students. We love you too, Robert!! Internationally acclaimed hairdresser, salon owner and platform artist Robert's business strategies are an inspiration to hairdressers around the globe. Robert's tireless dedication to sharing with others the keys to success has made him a true icon to countless beauty professionals from the U.S. and abroad.
Here's me and Ann Mincey. What an amazing woman she is! Ann's dedication throughout her nearly four-decade long career to develop and deliver inspirational messages has helped shape the careers of countless salon professionals, distributors and clients throughout the world.

And the woman who needs no introduction, TABATHA COFFEY!!!!!! AHH!! I love her!
