New Finds

Vis-à-Vis Lip Glaze This stuff is sweet! It goes on thick and creamy, and leaves lips ultra-moisturized. Most lip glosses leave a sticky finish, but this one doesn’t. AND, it kind of has a faint vanilla scent added which is oh-so-awesome. The names of the shades are really cute, too. Femme Fatale, Seductive, Temptress, Brown Suga, Ciao Bella, Innocence, Passion, Enchante, Minx and Clear Glaze. My favorite is the Brown Suga—leaves my lips shiny, sexy and perfect for fall.

Your Name Professional’s Mineral Sheer Matte Bronzer This stuff is fantastic. First, it’s hypoallergenic, which is perfect for my skin. Second, there are several shades of bronzer in the formula, so it really gives skin a natural look, without any orange/rusty afterglow.
About Face Cosmetic Powder Pigments About Face could be considered a color company, in addition to a make-up company. They offer such a wide range of colors for their eye colors, it's incredible! Look how pretty these jars look all lined up like that!

Your Name Professional’s Brow Tint Here’s another cosmetic I had no idea I needed—it’s great! Using brow tint, which looks like a mascara wand, totally changed my whole appearance. My eyes really pop by defining the brow hairs, and I look much more “done-up” when I use it. Check it out for bridal clients who want more dramatic make-up than usual, without looking like they’re wearing stage make-up.

Mirabella’s Blush and Eye Shadow Quad How pretty are these colors? The quad features four shades perfect for any client. Antique Amethyst is a rich amethyst with deep pink undertones, Emerald Envy is a gorgeous green with a gold fleck, and then there’s 24 Karat Gold, a pale wheat-gold and Black Diamonds, a dark gun-metal gray with a sheen. These metallic colors look gorgeous on any skin tone, so you can mix and match them to create a wide range of looks—from hints of pure color to deep drama. Apply them dry for subtle effects or activate with water for high-intensity bursts of color.

Jane Iredale’s Silver Lining Collection Features grays, blues and metallics. My favorite is the Double Dazzle Dual Highlighter Pencil that looks so great on the corner of eyes.
