, a new salon clothier, just launched the most badass camo-infused salon aprons. Decked out in dog tags, band patches (like David Bowie, ACDC, and other amazingly delicious bands), chains and studs, these things rock!
"We believe salon apparel design needed a makeover," say owners Shelly Hatting, Barbra McMahon and Kari Buffalo. "Battledress creates
designs that are functional, durable and-most important-stylish."
All of the stylist aprons have adjustable collars, a tool belt, water-resistant fabric and are totally durable.
So, OK, I'm not wearing the most badass outfit to model the most badass apron!
But this thing is soooooo cool I had to put it online right away-no time for a costume change.
What's interesting is that all Battledress apparel is made at the Women's Correctional Facility in Shakopee, Minnesota, through a contract with MINNCOR Industries, a division of the Minnesota Department of Corrections that employs inmates to perform different manufacturing jobs. The program is designed to minimize recidivism by helping inmates become more employable, productive citizens when they get out.
