Vim and Vigor Salon was launched about six months ago in the fashionable South of Market (SOMA) neighborhood in San Francisco by Gregory Murray and Peter Popejevalo. The beautiful interior houses a hair care haven that Murray has staffed with stylists who share his passion for education.

Our friend Mark Sejvar of Monroe Brush shared some photos of himself on the set of the hit show Scrubs. The lead hair stylists on the show Amanda Mofield and Amy McHale are devotees of Monroe Brushes and asked Mark to visit the show, see the set, meet the stars and bring along some more brushes.

This fall Aveda opened the doors of the new Aveda Institute Dallas, a simply gorgeous space that, like all Aveda facilities, is very green—-both functionally and aesthetically
