I've been chatting with New York salon owner Cristiano Cora about his latest educational workshops held in his stunning Greenwich Village Cristiano Cora studio. I haven’t been there myself, but the images are amazing. The Studio is a sleek modernist space on the second floor of a great looking building in a trendy neighborhood. Who could ask for more?

We left Paris for the charming town of Lyon, taking a coach to The Drome region in southeastern France. Our destination was the tiny and very ancient village of Lesches-en-Diois from where Aveda sources its certified organic lavender and clary sage.
