Zotos is a dedicated, long-time supporter of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. To jump start its October month-long fundraising initiative, the company held its 7th Annual Cut and Color-a-Thon on September 28, earmarking the proceeds for City of Hope's breast cancer treatment and research programs.

The event is always a hit with clients and the general public who come to the Artistic Institute Salon at Zotos' headquarters in Darien, Connecticut. It's also a favorite of hairstylists and colorists who are eager to spend the day volunteering their time and talent to give all comers outstanding cuts and color services at discounted prices, which are actually donations to City of Hope. Joining the event this year were some of Fairfield County's leading salons including Hopscotch of Greenwich, Reflections Salon of Stamford, John Thomas Salon of Darien, Greg & Tony of Westport, Frederic & Co. of Darien and Salon VLAS of Darien.

The Cut and Color-a-Thon raised $2,200 for City of Hope's breast cancer program.

MODERNs' own Angela Reich joined the event to lend her support, bring refreshments to the hard working stylists, and receive her own color service.

All colorists at the event used Joico Vero Color. Angela's naturally dark hair received what she described as a rich brunette hue, courtesy of Joico color, and she loved it.  Angela's color is beautiful--check out the photos from the event and see for yourself.

A dedicated group of volunteer stylists and colorists pitched in to serve clients at Zotos' 7th Annual Cut and Color-a-Thon, which kicked off the company's month-long fundraising effort on behalf of breast cancer awareness.

Modern's Angela Reich received color and a styling service, and left the Zotos Cut and Color-a-Thon with a shiny and rich new shade.
