An A-list gathering of women music industry executives were honored by Billboard magazine at the recent Billboard’s Women in Music Awards, and an A-list group of L’Oreal Professionnel artists provided pre-show and red carpet hair styling for the honorees and celebrity guests

L’Oreal Professionnel Celebrity Stylist Eva Scrivo styled the 2010 honorees at her New York City salon and L’Oreal Professional Portfolio Artists Joseph DiMaggio and Amit Abraham provided backstage finishes for red carpet appearances.

“It was an honor to be asked by Billboard and L’Oreal Professionnel to host the pre-event for executive women in the music industry,” said Eva. “Being a woman entrepreneur myself, as well as having done much work in the music business over the years, it was rewarding and inspiring to help show appreciation for these successful women who set such a positive example today and for future generations.”

Julie Greenwald, chairman and COO of Atlantic Records was named Number 1 on the 2010 Billboard Women in Music Power Players List. She and fellow executives Dawn Solder, Vice president of music, ABC Studios; Lisa Worden, music director, KROQ Los Angeles; Mamie Coleman, vice president of music and production, Fox Broadcasting; Marcie Allen, founder/president MAC Presents and Sarah Trahern, GM and senior vice president, Great American Country, visited the Eva Scrivo Salon and Spa for styles and touchups prior to the awards.

Dawn Soler, whose career brings her in contact with countless celebrities, was awed by meeting Eva Scrivo. She is a fan of Eva’s weekly Beauty Talk radio program and was thrilled to be in her chair. “I’m a huge Eva Scrivo fan and I listen to her all the time on the radio. I almost cried, it was so exciting to meet her—I meet a lot of artists, actors and others in my career, but this is better,” she said.

The Billboard Women in Music Awards named singer and Grammy winner Fergie of The Black Eyed Peas Woman of the Year.
Jazmine Sullivan was named Rising Star and Lea Michele received Billboard’s first Triple Threat Award.
