Well, it's hard to believe it, but my wedding day is almost here! Ten days from today I'll be walking down the aisle in an amazing Reem Acra gown, the most fantastic pair of shoes I've ever owned and a gorgeous hair style.

Unfortunately, nobody is going to see the shoes (except for when I specifically point them out, which will probably happen). But they will see the hair, the veil and the head piece.

And with all that in mind, I have chosen a stylist. Drum roll please! The winner is … Rachel Glenn of Prink salon in Chicago!

Rachel created an amazing, huge, dramatic 'do for me on my last trial. We both thought it was way cool, but maybe a bit much for the actual wedding day. So we're toning it down quite a bit and pulling the bangs a little more away from my face for the big day.

I have been all over the map with my wedding day hair. I even recently tried out a trial style with it half up, half down. I also tried a look with my natural, curly texture.

But last night, I went to Prink for some pre-wedding highlights and Rachel did an impromptu updo for me to see the exact silhouette I'd have on my wedding day and I fell in love with it. For the first time, I loved everything about the style-not just the back or side-everything. And, it was very flattering!

I am going to wear my veil over the style for the ceremony and then tuck it under the updo for the reception. A bit unconventional, but I love the drama of the veil on top, but also want to show off my hair style!

This wedding hair business has been quite a roller coaster ride! A big thank you to all the stylists and make-up artists who participated-it was so much fun to see your creative ideas come to life!

From Salon Coccole, I'll be using make-up artist Jessica Sawicki, who gave me the most gorgeous eyes complete with fake (but natural-looking) lashes!

Rachel and her team and Jessica will have their hands full on the big day, with eight bridesmaids, a flower girl and a mother-of-the-bride, but I know they can handle it!

I'll post photos when I get back from the honeymoon! In the meantime, keep voting for YOUR favorites of my hair styles and we'll announce the voters' favorite style in December (e-mail Melissa Hill at mhill@vancepublishing.com with your fave).

p.s. My fantastic co-workers threw me a surprise bridal shower last week. Here's a shot of me with Web Editor Melissa Hill and Midwest Sales Manager Katharine Cook (they're also bridesmaids, so look for photos of their hair, too!).
