Pivot Point Academy has launched its annual contest that awards one entrant with full cosmetology tuition to one of the company’s three locations. This year's contest is titled "Anything But Hair" and asks entrants to create a hair-like design without using real or synthetic hair. Entrants must upload photos of their designs that will remain viewable by Pivot Point Facebook community for the duration of the contest. The Anything But Hair contest runs October 3, 2011 through November 10, 2011. Entries are accepted via Pivot Point's Facebook page at www.facebook.com/pivotpointinternational.

"Our contest is a way to support potential students who are creative and driven in their pursuit of a career in the beauty industry," said Sara Pirok, vice president of international academies at Pivot Point. "For a second year we offer this incredible opportunity of paid tuition to attend our cosmetology program because we believe that a career in the beauty industry can change lives and empower success."

The contest winner will be announced in January 2012. In addition to receiving full tuition to the cosmetology program, the winner will also be able to regularly contribute to Pivot Point Academy's blog on its forthcoming new website.
