As a result of the abundance of entries submitted to the Junior Style Stars Competition, a national hair competition for students, there is now a new iPhone App that features 55 of the different bridal looks that were entered in the competition. All you have to do is download the App, snap a picture of your subject and then choose from a list of hair styles you can put on them!

“This tool is a great way for the hairdresser to communicate with their customers,” says Paul Barry, president of Barristar Student Services and vice president of the Junior Style Stars Competition. “It lets you see a hair style on someone before you create it!”

This App is a useful tool that hairdressers, brides and prom girls can use. “What we have is fun and unique,” says Barry. “It’s a worthwhile thing for the few dollars it costs.” The App is currently free, but soon a one-time charge of $3.99 will be initiated. Beauty professionals can also visit the website 500bridalhairstyles.com and see multiple viewpoints of bridal hairstyles.

The website is expected to launch Wednesday, Sept. 8th. Visitors to the site will be able to view 10 sample hair style pictures and have the choice of signing up for membership. Whether you want to sign up for a month ($1.50) or a year ($5.99), this website can be a constructive tool for hairdressers who specialize in special occasion hair.

Be sure to check in Wednesday for the launch of 500bridalhairstyles.com!!
