Harry Comp, the CEO of the Parisian Academy (a Paul Mitchell School) in Hackensack, NJ, is one of the most engaging members of the salon industry. Not only does he make learning fun, but he helps create learned and trained future professionals. He is enchanting and delightful and I am lucky enough to spend time with him at some of the Parisian activities. Most of those activities involve fundraising endeavors with proceeds forwarded to the charities established by Winn Claybaugh, Dean and CoFounder of Paul Mitchell Schools, and JPMS. Most recently, the Parisian Academy “FUN-raiser” included a fashion show, silent auction, runway competition, sit-down dinner and more. It was an elegant and special event, adding almost $25,000 to pot expecting to hold $50,000 by the end of the year.  To do that, Harry and team hold other FUN-raising events including talent shows, Karaoke nights, Peanut Butter Parties and more.

Winn Claybaugh himself acknowledges what is happening in Hackensack. "As people say 'It takes a village' and that is exactly how we all feel about raising a ton of money and awareness every year for a vairety of very special and worthy causes. I am proud of Harry Comp for embracing the Paul Mitchell Schools' efforts in FUN-raising."

We can all learn from Harry Comp and the Parisian team, and in this video, Harry gives us his thoughts and how we can all do our part. For all…it’s a WIN WIN WINN!
