One of the best parts about being a Modern Salon Editor is being invited to all of these AMAZING press events.  Yesterday's "Goody" tour was one of the best.  Okay, okay….Goody is a consumer focused company, but their team made it interesting to anyone interested in hair.
A "GOODY" press event

Goody, born in 1907, is celebrating it's 100 years in the hair world.  The event began with a visit to their mini hair accessory "museum" (from the "Goody perspective"), followed by a tour of everyday situations utilizing the latest offerings by the company.  Although these items will be sold in our local drug stores, most are great not just for your clients, but for the professional too!  In fact celebrity stylists and industry insiders Chuck Amos and Jim Crawford were there to demonstrate and rave about their favorite Goody products and tools

Of course there were lots of banana clips and consumer brushes, but my absolute FAVORITE items are from the "StayPut" line.  This collection of slip-proof headbands and elastics are not only effective, but attractive as well.  There's a great assortment of colors designed to either blend in or enhance hair color.   I'm wearing one now!
