Louis Angelo, an artist at the magnificent Garren salon in NYC, is a
regular at updating the looks of his many celebrity clients. Most
recently he tweaked the locks of Victoria's Secret model Alessandra
Ambrosio giving her a rock star shag with a flattering fringe. Angelo,
who used Rene Furterer Volumea Shampoo and Vegetal Spray to create the
look, believes this will be one of the hottest looks for fall:
"The look I designed for Alessandra works well on most hair types, but its best suited for either slightly wavy hair or straight hair. If the client has curly hair, keep the layers long.
The cut itself is two-fold: The exterior line establishes length, while the interior of the cut is layered from the crown all the way down to the established length. The shaggier, the better!
To create the bangs, choose a length that is best suited for your client's face type, whether it's bluntly cut across the forehead or slightly longer and side swept. Just make sure the bangs hit below the eyebrow."
