Joico

, known for fantastic color formulas and a powerful liquid line, just launched the K-Pak ReconstRx VaporIron, an innovative styling iron designed to reconstruct, repair and protect the hair as it smooths and straightens. The 1.25 inch floating ceramic/silicone plates offer even heat distribution through its adjustable temperature control.

The iron was launched to 30 members of the press at an exclusive event held this week at the Minardi Salon in New York City. Carmine Minardi, salon co-owner (with wife Beth, Joico Spokesperson) demonstrated the iron, showing how to straighten or add movement to the hair while simultaneously conditioning the hair.

The VaporIron features a built-in refillable liquid reservoir designed to deliver a conditioning fuel, or vapor (ReconstrutRx VaporFuel ) as it straightens the hair. The fuel is a blend of K-Pak's Quadramine Complex…a combination of proteins, antioxidants, essential fatty acids and botanical moisturizers. The ReconstrutRx VaporFuel seals the cuticle and repairs the hair from the inside out, while protecting strands from further damage. The vapor action encourages the water-soluable and reconstructive formula to penetrate deeper into each strand.
