Kevin Murphy lead an astounding 40 shows at the most recent Melbourne Fashion Week showing Spring/Summer 2011 fashions. Although WE couldn't be there, he sent to us four of his most exciting and inspiring finishes from the first four days:
Day 1: The look included a series of full body styles and sleek shapes reminiscent of 1950's glamour. (Murphy used KEVIN.MURPHY ANTI.GRAVITY and NIGHT.RIDER to sculpt the looks.) | Day 2: Displayed softer, more feminine styles to compliment the evening's vintage collections. (For these he used KEVIN.MURPHY ANTI.GRAVITY combined with a curling iron, and finished with SESSION.SPRAY and HAIR.CURLERS.) |
Day 3: Updo's adorned the runways on day three as Murphy perfected classic styles with a modern twist. High quaffs accompanied by tight, sleek sides were created with a little teasing (along with KEVIN.MURPHY HEAT.DEFENCE and SESSION.SPRAY.) | Day 4: The final day saw a resurgence of youthful hair styles to balance quirky, alternative designs on the runway. Using only KEVIN.MURPHY SESSION.SPRAY, Murphy created a smooth look on the back of the head leading up to a full, teased twist on the crown. |
