Murad, Inc. Hosts Art Show for Local Charities

Artist, philanthropist, and world-renowned dermatologist and healthcare professional Howard Murad, M.D. is inviting all to a public charity art show highlighting his personal work in mixed media paintings at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center on Thursday, October 21st from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

More than 30 pieces of Dr. Murad’s art will be up for auction at the show. One hundred percent of the proceeds from each piece sold at the event will be donated to the charity of the buyer’s choice. Currently there are more than 20 local Southern California charities registered for the event including Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Los Angeles, Heal the Bay and South Bay Family Health Care.

Guests are invited to view and bid on pieces while they enjoy catered food from Flemings restaurant, beverages from One Hope Wine and Voss Water as well as raffle and silent auction items by Sony Pictures Entertainment, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Michael Stars, OPI, Marriott, Los Angeles Dodgers, and more!

For more than 30 years, Dr. Murad has been offering medical care free of charge to the children at the Vista Del Mar Childcare Center and to members of the armed forces at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Westwood. His extensive and wide-ranging financial support for community organizations includes funding for after-school programs, environmental awareness, marine science education and scholarships administered through Big Brothers and Sisters of Los Angeles.
It's all taking place this Thursday, October 21st from 6:00 – 9:00 pm. There is a silent auction and a live auction that begins at 8.
