Ideas inspiration and information is what you will find on my blogs, starting today. Maybe I won't always be politically correct, so be warned. I'm into trends for fashion, hair, movies, art, whatever. I will also blog on hair history with great photos, stories and how-to's from my Hair Fashion Photo Archives website, now with over 3,000 photos mostly from the '60s to the '90s and WorldGreats from then as well as now.

The short version of my background includes: Creative and PR  Director for Vidal Sassoon US/Canadian Salons (1979-1981) and for La Coupe Salons (on and off for 14 trend-setting years like no other) …"Ambassadress" for the legendary John Sahag and his Workshop for a total of four years …  US Correspondent for Spain's Peluquerias Magazine for decades … Freelanced for daily newspapers as Beauty Editor in Montreal, and for many of the world's top hair magazines, including MODERN SALON. I have photographed backstage at Mercedes-Benz NY Fashion Week for over a decade. Check my website for more, much more, but I have to admit even that cannot not list many jobs and projects I would like to mention.

(In order not to confuse you and in the interests of space, please know that I have to leave out about 50% of how I have toiled over the decades. If any of you reading this are not mentioned here or on my website, I hope you will understand that I am mentioning only those I worked for on a long-term basis, not all the zillions of great projects and assignments and shorter jobs I enjoyed while they lasted!)

I hope you will get a kick out of the Helens and my hair over the years. Mostly I wear a bob because it is easy to do myself, and survives windy days and nights sleeping on It.
