(Photo by Frazer Harrison/Getty Images) Celebrity Stylist David Gardner gave actress and comedian Lena Dunham a soft, shiny coif using Sebastian Professional for the 64th Emmy Awards held in Los Angeles on Sunday. “Lena has the most beautiful eyes and my inspiration for the look was simply to draw attention to them with a soft, layered, shiny frame,” says Gardner. Try this look on your short hair clients who want a dash of Hollywood glamour.

TRY IT:

STEP 1: Emulsify a quarter-sized amount of crafting wax into palms and starting at the nape of the neck, apply the product to the lengths of towel dried hair. Once it is loosely applied all over, go back through the hair to ensure it is evenly distributed.

STEP 2: Using a low speed and heat setting, blow dry the hair with your fingers starting at the back and working your way towards the front and sides, drying the bang area last.

STEP 3: Once the back and sides are almost dry, take a large round brush and smooth out the longer bang area.

STEP 4: Mist the hair with Sebastian Professional Halo Mist for shine and a light hold.
