Golden Globes’ Glam Gals: Sexy Vintage Hollywood Trend Jennifer Lopez

Celebrity stylist Lorenzo Martin told Latina.com he was inspired by old Hollywood glam and Jennifer's Zuhair Murad gown to create a side part and modernize her red carpet hairstyle. Here's a quick how-to.

-Starting with damp hair, apply a heat protectant and blow-dry hair straight.

-Once hair is dry, tuck hair behind left ear. On that same side, take small sections and curl hair down a 1-inch barrel curling iron.

-After 20 seconds, remove the iron and pin the section in a roll while it cools. Repeat this process until the whole head is curled.

-Then, on the untucked side, repeat the same process but with a ½-inch curling iron to give a stronger wave around the face.

-Once all the hair cools, remove the pinned sections and brush hair into a soft, sexy wave.

-To keep hair tucked behind the ear, apply a small amount of firm hold gel.

-Lastly, lightly mist with firm hold hairspray to hold the style in place, leaving it with a sleek, finished look.

The "Fashion Star" co-host wowed on the red carpet with her icy blue makeup to match her sexy, damask-patterned gown. Stylist Jenny Cho gave OK magazine a quick how-to to recreate Nicole's complementary vintage hairstyle.

-Wash hair with a shine-infusion shampoo and conditioner, then blow dry hair using a large paddle brush.

-Part hair on the side and begin curling with a one-inch barrel curling iron. Be sure to hold the curling barrel horizontal to the head.

-After curling each section, use bobby pins to hold in place.

-Blast hair all over with a hot dryer for 1-2 minutes to help set the curls.

-Remove the bobby pins, lightly brush the hair to soften curls and finish with a firm hold hairspray.

-Add 1-2 drops of styling oil over the surface of the hair to add a radiant shine.

Golden Globes’ Glam Gals: Sexy Vintage Hollywood Trend Rachel Weisz

Stylist Ben Skervin told Solessence.com he was looking to channel "sexy 1930s hair" with Rachel's red carpet look to complement her Louis Vuitton dress with polka dot accents. Here's a quick how-to Skervin gave to Solessence to recreate the look.

-Starting with damp hair, apply a heat protectant and shine spray and blow-dry hair straight.

-Lastly, lightly mist with a firm hold hairspray to hold the style in place, leaving it with a sleek, finished look.

Golden Globes’ Glam Gals: Sexy Vintage Hollywood Trend Isla Fisher

Sascha Breuer had this to say about creating Isla's look:

"I just finished styling Isla Fisher's hair for the Golden Globe Awards. Her gorgeous Reem Acra dress had so much sparkly details and glam that we decided to go for a modern take of Veronica Lake's iconic style. Softer, very touchable, less set, yet very polished and sophisticated."

Here's a quick how-to from Breuer, who used Wella Professionals products to sculpt and finish the look:

-After washing and conditioning gently towel dry and apply Wella Elastic Energy Mousse through the hair, using a wide toothed comb to give this look staying power.

-Ensure that you spread the product right through to the tips of the hair to boost the energy of the curls with irresistible definition and virtually frizz-free shine.

-Blow-dry using a large round brush. Direct the nozzle upwards for added root-lift. Ensure the hairdryer isn't too hot, which can cause it to dry out and break, giving the hair frizz.

-Once the hair is completely dry, create a low side parting for added glam and section the hair into manageable pieces.

-Use a medium size curling iron to create lush, tumbling waves.

-Tong each section working around the head turning the tongs one way and then the other to roll as you work around.

-Starting at the front and working backwards, wrap sections of hair around a medium-sized heated curling iron and secure each curled section with pins or clips. I would recommend that you use a curling iron that allows you to adjust the temperature to the needs of the hair. ( Love the one from the Braun satin hair range )

-Spray the pinned hair lightly with Wella Stay Essential Hairspray and leave to cool.

-When the hair is completely cool, release the curled sections, remove all the grips and smooth through with your hands to loosen the ringlets.

-Use a large soft brush gently brush through the curls to create smooth soft waves.

-Don't be tempted to overbrush or the hair will become frizzy and loose its smoothness. A few drops of Wella Mirror Polish will work wonders to add the right level of smoothness and glossy shine.

-To finish use Wella Stay Essential Hairspray for added lasting but flexible hold. It will keep the style with sophisticated sheen full of shine and bounce.
