My hair right now: Brunette—less red. Shade on shade highs and lows with a great graduated, shattered bob.
Coolest look I ever created: Rene Russo’s red hair for the Thomas Crown Affair—people still ask for it!
Celeb I’d most like to make over: Kate Middleton, the new princess! She’s gorgeous, but her hair needs soft highlights, and a much more modern style!
Toughest part of being a “celeb:” When one’s celebrity makes people you love unhappy or uncomfortable.
Favorite movies: Love Actually, The Women (original version), Life is Beautiful and All About Eve (a MUST for every woman— trust me).
Favorite item in wardrobe: Black Manolo slingback pumps with big bow in front!
Favorite tool and product: Tiny yellow tint brush from TIGI and Joico’s NG+ Age Defy Shades.
Best thing about my job: Working with my extraordinary staff and with my wonderful professional students and clients!
Best job I ever had as a hair colorist: Being part of various teams that created new lines of hair color. Developing hair color is an amazing, enjoyable and most exciting process, and it is such an honor to be a part of this.
Best vacation: A trip to France and Italy—two glorious weeks of seeing Europe through my young daughter’s eyes.
