Rachel Carranza (@gypsydreamhair) says she watches an educational video every single day, and it shows. Her classic yet trendy color changes are getting attention everywhere and are in huge demand in her Gypsy Dream Hair suite, located in Lisa's Country Cuttery in Joshua, Texas.

Says Carranza of her color work, “My favorite challenge when taking on a new color client is understating the client’s exact desire and making it a reality—my motto is under-promise and over-deliver.” (She also loves Kenra and Redken haircolor.)

Licensed in 2010, Carranza worked at a high-end salon for two years before spending three at Ogle Beauty School as an admissions representative, helping other aspiring beauty professionals follow their dreams. But this year, the lure of doing hair herself was just too strong, and when she found a room in a “super-cute salon” to rent, she jumped at the chance. Naturally, her color makeovers, posted on social media, got business in the door fast.
