Aileen Nunez, Andis international education manager, introduces new education program Clipper Cutting 101: A Beginner's Guide to Haircutting at America's Beauty Show 2016 in Chicago.

The book serves as an extension o fthe brand's international education program and is the first piece of Andis' broader education platform, Andis Master Barber School.

"Clipper Cutting 101 was designed specifically for students and professionals who have had limited exposure to clipper training," Nunez says. "In beauty school, students have limited exposure to proper clipper-cutting technique and men's haircutting best practices in general. Ironically, these same students often start their careers at chain salons cutting hair for male clients. Clipper Cutting 101 will provide them with the skills needed to master the art of men's grooming."

The 73-page color book includes clipper-cutting theory, best practices, techniques, tool maintenance and instructions on how to cut nine men's hairtsyles.
