On April 19 and 20, Sexy Hair hosted its first Sexy Hair Academy class in its new location, the Annenberg Beach House in Santa Monica, California.
The class began with a tai chi session on the beach and continued inside with haircutting instruction in Sexy Hair’s exclusive Structure in Motion technique, which is based on the movements of tai chi.
Ian Browning, master artist, led the class through the fundamentals which emphasize body positioning and utilizing the lower body.
“When I first started cutting hair, I was at the chiropractor three times a week because my body was suffering,” Browning said. “Sexy Hair taught me how to use my legs and how to maintain my energy from my first client to my last.”
