Pravana has announced the third annual “Show Us Your Vivids + Pastels Contest” beginning June 1st, where students and stylists can enter their color creations for a chance to win their own editorial photo shoot in Chicago. Members of Pravana’s Artistic Council will be judging the contest this year based on creativity, technique and overall impact. Submissions will be accepted through August 31st and winners will be announced on September 5th through Pravana’s social media outlets, website, and community e-mail blast.
How to Enter/Rules:
*Submit three photos of a model/client (live person) displaying your best color creation along with a description of how you achieved the look and which colors were chosen.
*The entry must include at least one ChromaSilk VIVIDS Shade and/or one ChromaSilk PASTELS shade. Any additional hair color used must be ChromaSilk.
*All styling products used must be Pravana.
*For each color creation:
-Do a “Before” photo of a model holding a sign that says “Before.”
-Take after photos in a creative photoshoot-like setting that ties in your look, color and inspiration.
Prizes:
• The first prize winner will win a creative photo shoot for an editorial spread in Chicago mentored by Daniel Moon, Celebrity Colorist and Pravana Artistic Council Member.
• Second prize will receive a deluxe Pravana Glam Kit (products of their choice) valued at $1,000.
• Third prize winner will receive a Pravana Glam Kit (products of their choice) valued at $500.
• Facebook Fan Pick Winner: Submitted Entries will be uploaded by Pravana to a contest album on the Prvana Facebook. The entry with the most "likes" on Facebook by August 31st, 2013 at 11:59 PST will receive a Fan Glam Kit with Pravana products, valued at $500.
