MET BALL 2014: Sarah Silverman Ornate Bun How-ToGET THE LOOK

STEP 1: Start with wet hair. Prep hair with Paul Mitchell mousse from root to ends to give hair texture/grip, then use a bit of Sebastian Professional Cellophanes Clear on the ends to seal and add shine.

STEP 2: Blow dry the hair using a T3 Anti-Gravity 2.5-inch Barrel Brush and T3 Evolution LongLife Dryer. Go section by section, up and away from the face in order for hair to be sleek but maintain body.

STEP 3: Once dry, use T3 Voluminous Hot Rollers to add volume and to create bend at the ends. This ensures that when styling the woven bun, hair will bend naturally into place with fewer flyaways.

STEP 4: After about 30 minutes, rollers should be cool. Brush out hair with a T3 Paddle Brush.

STEP 5: Create a deep side part using hte T3 Rat Tail Comb and comb the hair toward the nape of the neck.

STEP 6: Tilt the head (chin up) to gather the hair at the nape of the neck securely with a black CyndiBands elastic hair tie.

STEP 7: Once secured, wrap the hair up and around. Secure with pins until an ornate bun is created.

STEP 8: Finish the look with a bit of Freeze It hairspray and lightly press the flat end of the rat tail comb against any flyaways.
