click image to zoom KMS California has just introduced the IQ Cutting Method, which consists of 12 cutting techniques (not haircuts) that offer a strong foundation for stylists at every level.

Designed by the members of the KMS Brand Artistic Team, the method enables stylists to combine any of the techniques (in any way they desire) to create customized styles based on their client’s face shape, life style and desired end result.

The IQ Cutting Method focuses on helping the stylist gain confidence in every cut they do so that they can spend more time focusing on servicing their clients versus trying to figure out how to create the cut their clients are requesting.

“For salon owners like myself, the IQ Cutting Method provides the opportunity to build confidence, especially in younger stylists, as well as expanding their overall skill set and speed,” says Brian Bode, Lead Artistic Director for the KMS California Team. “For a stylist— at any level—this is a fresh new way of approaching cutting. Anyone can use three or four of the techniques learned to create an individual look for a client. This is technique-driven education at its finest, which is invaluable.”

The KMS California Brand IQ Cutting Method classes are available at the KMS California Hair Care Academies located in Santa Monica, Baltimore, Toronto and Vancouver. For more information and to sign up for classes, visit kmscalifornia.com or call 800-637-3377.
