Dove was referring to the Wella Blaze trend, introduced at the most recent International Trend Vision Awards as an important color design and silhouette for 2012. “This look is for someone very seductive and self confident,” said Nasrallah. “The color and shape is strong, but Blaze can carry it off.”

The short-haired model Ayden arrived as planned, bright and early, but the pre-booked long-haired model cancelled at the last minute. “We’ll make it work,” said Christopher Dove while he and Wella PR executive Megan Newell frantically called model agencies in Los Angeles. By 3 p.m., model Crystal arrived and the team got busy.
By 7 p.m., the team, including photographer Roberto Ligresti, packed up their bags to get some rest before the 8 a.m. call time the following day at the Wella headquarters in Woodland Hills, California, where they created the beautiful images seen on our cover and on page 94.
