click image to zoom MODERN is receiving more and more photo submissions every day from MODERN fans! Recently we just received a submission from Jake Khan from Shearious Salon in Atlanta, Georgia, and Guest Artist Jamie Lee Anderberry who sent us a picture of (what we would like to call) bubblegum pink hair.

To achieve the style, Khan and Anderberry pre-lightened the hair to a level 10 using Paul Mitchell Dual Purpose Lightener (DPL) and 20 volume. Then, for the pink, he added two parts Paul Mitchell Super Strong Conditioner and one part Paul Mitchell Red Ink Works. "I added Ink Works little by little until I got the right pink," says Khan. "The cut is kind of a firefly adaption. The sides are cut at a graduated angle with diagonal back sections criss crossing in the back. The top is cut from short to long from the front to the back using the crown as a guide. The top is slightly disconnected from the sides."

According to Khan, the model's bubbly personality inspired the color. "She has a neutral skin tone so pink looks great on her!"
