Stonewater Cove Resort and Spa, a luxurious, lakefront retreat nestled in the heart of the Mark Twain National Forest, is elevating its spa experience—literally—with a distinctive new Treehouse Spa that will premier Memorial Day Weekend.
After a day of active fun, clients can soothe their bodies with a relaxing spa treatment, while listening to the rustling leaves and chirping songbirds of the nearly 500 acres of lush forest. From a picturesque treatment room, clients can gaze out toward the calming serenity of the wilderness surrounding Table Rock Lake. The Treehouse Spa will offer a variety of expert treatments, while all treatments will feature organic products reflecting the pristine, natural setting of the resort and spa.
Construction is underway for the Treehouse Spa, which will be comprised of individual elevated treatment rooms incorporating hand-crafted materials from the local woods. The spa will include a reception room along with single and double treatment rooms, each their own unique “treehouse”. After a short walk through the forest adjacent to the lodge, expect total privacy in these elevated treehouses, while nearly an entire wall of each treatment room will be glass so that guests can enjoy a sweeping view of the red and white oak, cedar, juniper, hickory, and sycamore filled forest.
The glistening shoreline waters of Table Rock Lake are also part of the visual pallet of each treatment experience. Entry walkways to the spa will be made with rope handrails to add to the treehouse touch and feel, and many water features adorning the lodge and guest room pathways will be added.
“Stonewater Cove at its core is a fusion of nature and luxury, and we wanted our spa to reflect this union,” said Randi Bond, vice president of marketing for Stonewater Cove.
She added that the spa will be a great place for guests to unwind and work out stiff muscles after a day of outdoor adventures at the resort—or for those who could use some quiet respite. “This will be a great place for the do-it-all mom to treat herself to some well-deserved pampering while the kids are off riding the ATV trails.”
