Aquage has partnered with Susan G. Komen for the Cure in the unrelenting fight to save millions of lives and to end breast cancer once and for all.

Aquage has promised to raise a guaranteed minimum donation of $100,000 in 2010 for this empowering initiative of hope through the sales of the special edition Aquage Finishing Hair Spray and Styling Sets. Since 2008, Aquage has raised over $389,000 for Komen for the Cure, a significant amount that has contributed to great strides in research, treatment and medical discoveries in the effort to find the cures for breast cancer.

A cause in-sync with Aquage’s dedication to women and the salon industry, partnering with Komen for the Cure was Aquage’s ideal choice. "For most of us, becoming a hairdresser was a matter of choice not chance,” says Luis Alvarez, Vice President and Co-Founder of Aquage. “We are driven by a genuine desire to help others knowing that in turn our contribution becomes a powerful force in our own lives. Let's join together and help make a difference in the fight against breast cancer."

Through the sales of Aquage’s special edition breast cancer awareness products, a minimum of $.21 of each gift set or pink hairspray purchased will be donated to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, with a projected donation of over $200,000 in 2010. For more information visit www.aquage.com.
