Big Bang Theory

International stylist and educator Sandra Yu has released her Big Bang collection where it’s all about the fringe. Yu combines texture, volume and strong geometric cuts to create a variety of looks that herald both the fashion runway and New York street style. “Whether it is a long bang, a short bang or no bangs, it is all about the bangs when accenting a look,” says Yu.

With experience as an educational director for a major manufacturer, Yu is always striving to perfect her own artistry and to find new ways to bring her knowledge to others around the country. In addition to seminars and shows, Yu is introducing a new program of cutting education available in a three-part DVD collection.

Yu’s three Big Bang instructional DVDs feature:

  • Big Bang 1: A technique to create texture and shape in medium to long hair.
  • Big Bang 2: Creates texture in long hair.
  • Big Bang 3: Teaches contemporary looks for short hair.
The educational collection is available at sandra-yu.com.
