Cosmetologists Chicago offers all licensed salon professionals, cosmetology students, nail technicians, estheticians, salon owners and managers a chance to grow their careers through education. This Fall there are several classes for pros to attend, including:

“INTA N.A.I.L. - New and Interesting Learning” by Next Level Education and INTA
Dates: Monday, September 13, 2010 and Monday, September 27, 2010

Educator Shawn Wilson combines her unique teaching style and her real world experience as a business owner to advocate for increased professionalism and development of trained professionals in the industry. She is dedicated to taking nail technicians to the next level by training, mentoring, and coaching nail technicians and moving them to a successful and fulfilling career in the nail industry.

Shawn will teach two segments, “Choosing the right environment for success” and “Setting goals for your career and future.” Nail techs will lean necessary interviewing skills, what makes a salon a good fit and how to prepare for an interview. In addition, they’ll learn how to set goals for their career and future, market inexpensively and achieve staying power in today’s competitive environment.

Cosmetologists Chicago invites all career hair colorists, stylists, salon owners and students to its fourth ColorAmerica conference. A star-studded cast of industry experts, including headliner Patrick McIvor and artists Chrystofer Benson, James Edick, John Simpson and Kelly Cardenas, will demonstrate the most important new coloring and cutting techniques that will translate perfectly for salon clients.

Guests will have access to in-depth understanding of hair color techniques, the unique chemistry of color and insight for owners and managers on ways to improve their color business.
