The new Curly Girl, The Handbook is ready for release. Author Lorraine Massey (with Michele Bender) offers advice and tips to the 65 percent of all women sporting or hiding their curly or wavy hair. Lorraine, co-owner of the Devachan salons and co-creator of the Deva line of curl sensitive products, has been known as a key go-to expert since releasing her "Curly Girl Method" designed to teach the curly blessed and salon professionals how to work with curls instead of against them. Lorraine spends most of her day either educating clients or fellow professionals how to bring out the best in curls and waves.

The book is chock full of information, offering fail proof hair care methods including identifying and managing the various hair types and suggested hair care routines. There is even a section for men and kids. An instructional DVD, with tutorials on caring for and styling different types of curls, is included. Says Lorraine, "Wearing curly hair in its natural way is not just a trend, it's a lifestyle."

Curly Girl, The Handbook, published by Workman Publishing, will hit the stores next week and is just $13.95...a perfect book for clients AND professionals.
