INSPIRATION BOARD: Dean Banowetz

As a full-time celebrity hair stylist, Dean Banowetz has climbed the latter to hairdresser stardom through his proven cut and styling skills throughout his career. He has styled some of Hollywood’s hottest sirens at events like the Academy Awards, Grammys and Golden Globes. Currently, he serves as a hair stylist to Extra’s host Leeza Gibbons and Dayna Devon. He has been featured on Oprah, Tyra, NBC’s TODAY Show, Entertainment Tonight, Inside Edition and Access Hollywood plus in numerous beauty magazines. Known as the “Hollywood Hair Guy” he continues to share tips and advice to fans across the country.

Home: When I'm home in Iowa with my family, I am incredibly inspired by the rolling hills of cornfields that seem never-ending. They always remind me of the way hair moves in the wind.

Family: Coming from a family of 15 children and 75 nieces and nephews ranging in ages from 64 to one, I’m always surrounded by a variety of shapes, sizes, occupations and lifestyles. This has always been my greatest reminder to put myself in others people's shoes in order to help them achieve their ideal look and to ensure they have a great experience while in my chair.

Flowers: I love flowers! The best place to find them in Los Angeles is the downtown flower market. Every time I have a chance, I love to wander through the flower shops looking for the perfect flowers to fill my house with the colors and smells that inspire me and help me focus. The brightness transforms my mood and attitude, while the constant variety often makes me want to try new things.
