Trademarked by voluminous wigs and fancy, extravagant clothing (which is tailored by real hair,) Charlie Le Mindu, the French-born Londoner, a favorite designer and hairstylist of Lady Gaga, Peaches Geldolf and other celebrities, presented his new collection for Spring/Summer 2011 at London Fashion Week.

He used hair exclusively by the European hair extension company, Hairdreams. His new collection is inspired by the glamorous and eccentric lifestyle of Los Angeles. That's why pink Cadillacs, pink champagne and sparkling jewelry transformed the catwalk into world-famous Sunset Boulevard, the perfect backdrop for the flamingo-pink and black layout models. Their "hairy" outfits were completed by leopard patterns accenting soft flowing fabric and clear plastic elements.

"These creations show that hair can be used not only to decorate the head, but also in fashion as a creative element existing on its own right," said catwalk observers. Parts of the collection have even already been reserved for Lady Gaga.
