Back in February, Sebastian Professional kicked off its Second Wave of its What’s Next Awards. The focus of the online competition was on stylists’ fiercest representations of voluminous hair styles. The competition still calls for stylists nationwide to create their most unique and edgy looks to support the current theme. Bi-weekly winners have been selected.

Here’s the NEW second winning photo by Beatrice de Jong, “Doll.”

The grand prize winner will be awarded a feature spot in BlackBook magazine and will win a trip for two to New York City where he or she will work alongside select stylists from across the country as part of the Sebastian stylist team at Spring 2011 Fashion Week. The winner will be announced on or before July 15 on whatsnextawards.com.
