Eye on Apps

More and more beauty manufacturers are launching apps for iPhone, iPad and smart phones that provide targeted information with a touch of a button.

Schwarzkopf Professional has developed a stylish application called the Igora Educator App, which provides users access to hundreds of hair color formulas. The app contains four primary functions: Create Formula, My Clients, Hints and Tips, and Browse Educator.

Create Formula allows users to select the client’s target color by choosing from the series and shades in Schwarzkopf’s Igora color line. After target color selection, the user then proceeds to white/gray level selection, application type, and natural level hair color. Once the data is entered, a formula is provided to mix the Schwarzkopf color products.

Hints and Tips includes: concentrates, color correction, special recommendations, color refreshing, and toner and developer tips.

Browse Educator allows the user to browse through the graphic versions of the original System Educator pages, with a contemporary page-fl ipping look and feel.
