TONI&GUY is now accepting applications for their annual Guy Mascolo Scholarship. 14 students will be awarded full tuition valued up to $15,920 and begin their studies this Fall.

The Guy Mascolo Scholarship was created in loving memory of co-founder of TONI&GUY, Guy Mascolo, who passed away in 2009. Guy Mascolo and his brother Toni Mascolo, started TONI&GUY in London over 40 years ago with a single salon. With the help of brothers Bruno and Anthony Mascolo, TONI&GUY became an international icon in the beauty industry.

Today the TONI&GUY Hairdressing Academies prepare students for their cosmetology state boards and provide them with the skills they need in order to be salon-ready. Students receive training in TONI&GUY’s repertoire of classic cuts and chemical techniques, instruction by industry leaders, learn in a modern facility that functions like a high end salon, and receive professional quality tools to begin their career. They also receive a lifetime discount on all future advanced education with TONI&GUY helping them to stay up on the latest trends and techniques.

With 25 hairdressing academies neationwide, the following schools will award a Guy Mascolo Scholarship for 2012: Scottsdale (Arizona), Costa Mesa (California), Manteca (California), Modesto (California), Santa Monica (California), Colorado Springs (Colorado), Atlanta (Georgia), Boise (Idaho), Coeur d’ Alene (Idaho), Dallas (Texas), Keller (Texas), Albuquerque (New Mexico), Bellingham (Washington) and Seattle (Washington).
