OPI was used on nails for the Herve Leger by Max Azria 2012 autumn/winter show at Lincoln Center on Saturday. Passion was painted on models’ nails for a clean, barely-there nude look that complimented the show’s black and neutral-colored dresses with leather strap detailing.

The North American Hairstyling Awards (NAHA) has added a new category for 2012: The NAHA Newcomer Stylist of the Year award. To qualify to enter, the entrant must be a licensed cosmetologist with less than three years of professional experience. The new category seeks to recognize a rising talent in the professional hairstyling industry and is meant to bridge the gap between Student Hairstylist of the Year and Hairstylist of the Year. Eli Mancha received top honors at the North American Hairstyling Awards at PBA Beauty Week in Las Vegas.
Mancha is the artistic director for the Lock & Loaded design team and owner of Bang! salon in Chicago. He and his team, along with winners in 12 other NAHA categories, were celebrated at the annual “Academy Awards of hair”-inspired gala. See the complete list of NAHA winners.
