It's a Force Field: Magnetic Nail Swirls

By Lauren Salapatek | 06/27/2012 10:50:00 AM

This summer ORLY is launching its limited edition Magnetic FX—nail lacquers with a smooth, shimmering formula infused with metallic particles to create designs and shapes on nails using magnetic forces. The easy to use formula comes packaged with an exclusive, customized magnetic design tool to create unique nail designs.

Three lacquers come in the Magnetic FX Collection: Force Field (Plum Shimmer), Paint on Electron (Gunmetal Shimmer), and Opposites Attract (Blue Violet Shimmer). The collection is currently available in professional salons nationwide.

TRY IT:

STEP 1: Apply one coat of Magnetic FX Nail Lacquer over the entire nail.

STEP 2: While nail is still wet, hold the design tool close to the nail without touching it for 10 seconds.

STEP 3: Particles in the lacquer will gravitate toward the magnet, creating the 3D design on nails.
