Clairol Professional has recently unveiled the new color application technique Butter Blondes using Crème Demi Permanent color.

BASE:

Apply 2 oz. crème permanente 12G mixed with 4 oz. 40-volume creme permanente developer to re-growth only. Process for 45 minutes for maximum hi lift. Shampoo, condition and towl dry the hair.

HIGHLIGHTS:

Formula 1: 1-1/2 oz crème demi permanente 7G with 1/2 oz creme demi permanente 7N + 2 oz. creme demi permanente developer.

Formula 2: Equal parts crème demi permanente 7G + creme demi permanente developer.

Formula 3: Equal parts crème demi permanente 10G + creme demi permanente developer.

TECHNIQUE: Along the top and sides, place vertical panels alternating among the three formulas. The sections should be thin enough to see through, to create a softly layered, tone-on-tone result. Use foils to separate the different formulas. See foil placement in diagram. On remaining hair apply parts 10G and developer. Process for 30 minutes. Shampoo and condition.
