FASHION WEEK Nature Colliding with Electricity at Erin Fetherston

By Lauren Salapatek | 02/16/2012 2:26:00 PM

Inspired by the idea of "nature colliding with electricity," signature Erin Fetherston fair tones of white and pastels and pops of jewel tones were accented by metallic prints, light-reflecting sequins and strategically placed crystals. TIGI Creative Director Nick Irwin worked with the designer to create three equally pretty hair styles to complement the new age fairy tale theme.

  1. Create a clean center part and split the hair into four even sections, one on each side and two in the back.
  2. Holding at the bottom, twist the hair and secure with a clip.
  3. Spritz each twisted section with Catwalk by TIGI Session Series Salt Spray and blow dry to set.

Look #1: Remove hair from clips and leave down.
Look #2: Remove hair from clips and twist sides while bringing them into a low ponytail at the nape of the neck. Secure with pins.
Look #3: Remove hair from clips and brush into a high ponytail on the top of the head. Twist into a messy knot and pull wisps of hair surrounding the face.
Look #4: Finish all looks with hairspray.
