Rusk's 2012 Collection, Rebel Chic, is inspired by powerful women who took risks and championed change—defining movement and trend. From Lady Gaga, Joan of Arc and Cleopatra, these looks are a modern interpretation of the strong styles worn by daring women whose “rebellion” impacts society in politics, culture and fashion.

“Representing my aesthetic for edgy, elegant shapes, I was able to create fi nishes featuring strong perimeters contrasted by soft, diffused layers in the interiors,” says Sherri Jessee, Rusk Creative Team member, whose images inspired the cutting and coloring methods now presented worldwide at shows and educational events. “The fl ashes of color and various textures add interest.”
