UPDO ALTERNATIVE
For model Heather’s shorter locks, Padgett was inspired by retro ’50s glamour (think modernized Mad Men). She applied Aquage Uplifting Foam, then used the dryer to wrap hair over the circumference of the head in every direction, effectively polishing the hair smooth. She added Aquage Transforming Paste for lift at the crown, randomness over the occipital, and a flat, finished effect above the ears and at the nape.

LOOSE & LANGUID
For model Nell, Padgett again applied Aquage Beyond Body to the front and back of each section to prep the hair base, then used a conical iron to create a more predictable pattern that is looser at the root with tighter, more defined curl at the ends. She finished with Detailing Crème to soften the top layers into a wave pattern.

MODERN MID-LENGTH
Model Holly’s naturally fine hair tends to go flat at the base. To add volume, Padgett applied Beyond Body and employed a flatironing technique utilizing horizontal sections that she says can create the same impact of a blow out without making the hair too round. She finished the look by using Aquage Detailing Crème as a styling “glove,” emulsifying and raking her hands through the hair.

OPEN & ORGANIC

Padgett applied Aquage Beyond Body thermal styling spray to both sides of model Diana’s straight, thick hair. She then set the look, alternately using a conical iron and a flatiron curling technique to generate a loose or “collapsed” curl pattern.

Aquage Master Artist Heaven Padgett’s new take on glamour is all about keep texture young, loose and fresh. Her two-step thermal setting approach delivers polished texture to create an elegant, shiny and touchable effect, versus a “raw” texture look.

Padgett uses Aquage Working Spray and Beyond Body to build the ideal base. Then, to create loose, modern texture with strand definition and separation, she works with Aquage Transforming Paste on short hair and Aquage Detailing Crème for longer lengths. See stepby- step video education on these and similar techniques by Padgett and the entire Aquage team at aquage.com.
