As with every major project at Keratin Complex, the Icon Collection materialized through teamwork, with vital contributions from key departments throughout the company.
The Icon Collection was conceived in conjunction with the rebranding of the Keratin Complex Style Therapy collection. The team tasked with bringing the campaign to life decided they wanted the collection to speak to women of every age, representing the beauty of unique shapes and forms.
"I am always inspired by fashion trends, particularly those that reflect glamour and a cosmopolitan attitude," says International Artistic Team Member Abraham Sprinkle, who led the creative direction.
Sprinkle crafted a detailed vision of trends based on admired cities throughout the globe. This inventiveness set the tone for the project. Further collaboration led to the final concept: a collection of looks that illustrate the timeless elegance and femininity of iconic women throughout the decades.
Inspired by six decades of iconic beauty, the Icon Collection takes six classic styles - Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly, Brigitte Bardot, Farrah Fawcett, Madonna and Claudia Schiffer - and interprets them for the modern day with favorites from the Keratin Complex product portfolio.
"Each look reflects a particular span of time where an exquisite woman stole the attention of a generation." - Kirstin Gundersen, Creative Director for Keratin Complex
