When the sun reaches its absolute highest point in the sky, a solstice occurs. The summer solstice is also known as the longest day of the year for any place on Earth, because the length of time between sunrise and sunset on that day is the yearly maximum.

In this MODERN collection, Eufora International Artistic Director Dee Fortier creates finishes that take advantage of summer’s long days and seasonal styling alternatives. For this session, Fortier requested two models, one with shorter hair to demonstrate a modern, chic design, and one with longer hair for a silhouette and shading to best show relaxed sophistication. Both looks are simply executed, but result in rich, breathtaking finishes.
