Rizos, the award winning salon group from Spain, has released its latest collection with several themes or, as they call it, Codes. Each celebrates a particular phase of beauty and fashion.
The Bob Code recalls the rebelliousness of this look when women from Louise Brooks to Mia Farrow made a statement by “bobbing” or cutting their hair. The severe lines are complemented with shiny, bright color and smoky make-up.
The Dress Code celebrates classic fashion including the cocktail dress, evening gown, little black dress and, here, the Tuxedo, which Yves Saint Laurent introduced as a staple for women’s evening wear. Color is chosen to enhance the movement of the cut and the make-up is nude for a gender-bender effect.
The Beauty Code showcases texture and exotic styles inspired by the goddesses of mythology. The styles are elaborate with twists, textures and curls. The make-up is bold with iridescent, cherry and bronze tones.
Salon Code features styles that are natural and, as Rizos describes them, “weapons of seduction.” Make-up is soft and delicate.
Man Code is self-explanatory. It caters to the man who is image conscious and wants a style that can go from casual to formal and is suitable for short, asymmetric or curly cuts.
