Fall and winter often lead to clients desiring deeper, richer hues than their sunkissed spring and summer colors. Daisy Rosania from Aurelio Salon in Howell, N.J., adds interest to a darker hue with an accent color.

Don't forget to keep your Pinterest boards alive and well! Fall and winter boards are an opportunity to inspire yourself and others.

"Each time you create a new color and pin it on Pinterest, you are expanding your portfolio," says Patrick McIvor, artistic and TechniCulture director for Goldwell and KMS California.

"The larger your portfolio is, the more people will see it on social media, which translates to more people in your chair."
